Clearview IM

Infectious Mononucleosis (IM), Glandular Fever or the “kissing disease” as it is more commonly known, can be problematic in its diagnosis. Its symptoms closely resemble more serious infections which need to be identified and treated urgently.

The Clearview IM rapid diagnostic test is the one-step solution to aid the diagnosis of Infectious Mononucleosis. The Clearview IM test kit is a simple, rapid immunoassay for the qualitative detection of infectious mononucleosis IgM heterophile antibodies in human whole blood, serum or plasma specimens. Clearview IM is ideal for the laboratory or the doctor’s office, and provides reliable results in just 5 minutes (serum and plasma only). Further benefits of Clearview IM include ease of use and the flexibility to be used on either serum, plasma or whole blood samples.

Healthcare professionals and patients benefit from the clear and unambiguous result obtained from the Clearview IM rapid diagnostic test. This is a combination of Inverness Medical’s unique patented technology and a highly purified glycoprotein from bovine erythrocytes.
