rapid test for the visual, qualitative detection of Group A
Streptococcal antigen directly from throat swabs. This test is
intended for use as an aid in the diagnosis of Group A
Streptococcal infection and is for invitro diagnostic professional

results and excellent sensitivity, with in-built procedural
controls to show that the test has been performed correctly.
Group A
Streptococcus is a major cause of upper respiratory
infections such as pharyngitis. Clearview Exact Strep
A detects Strep A pharyngitis, improving the effectiveness
of patient treatment in a number of ways; the course of the illness
can be shortened, the severity of symptoms lessened, and so too the
chances of further spread or complications.

How to use Clearview
Exact Strep A
Strep A detection made
simple
Step 1
Extract the throat swab
sample using the reagents provided.
Step 2
Cassette – Cap the
extraction tube with the dropper provided and squeeze it all onto
the sample well of the device.
Dipstick – Immerse the test
strip in the extraction tube.
Step 3
Read the result at five
minutes.
