Clearview EASY HCG pregnancy test

 

Clearview EASY HCG pregnancy test is a rapid diagnostic device for the qualitative detection of human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG) in urine. The presence and rapid rise of hCG levels in urine make it an excellent marker for the diagnosis of pregnancy.  With proven accuracy of >99% Clearview EASY HCG is a cost effective diagnostic test enabling healthcare professionals to optimise patient care.

 

Clearview EASY HCG pregnancy test offers the flexibility of 4 easy sampling procedures:

 

• “Hands free” test - place test stick in urine and leave for any time between 3 and 10 minutes
• Dip the test stick in the urine sample for 15 seconds
• Pipette 100ml urine directly onto the test stick
• Hold test stick in the urine flow for 3-7 seconds.

How to use the Clearview EASY HCG pregnancy test

Step 1

Use one of the following 4 sampling procedures:

 

A) Dip and leave

 

• Dip absorbent sampler into the urine sample until it is half immersed (Y).
• Leave for 3 to 10 minutes.
• Place cap over absorbent sample without inverting device.
• Read result immediately.

 

 

 

 

B) Dip

 

• Dip absorbent sampler into urine sample point X for 15 seconds.
• Place cap over absorbent sampler, without inverting device.
• Read result after 3 minutes.

 

 

 

 

C) Pipette

 

• Place on a clean, dry, flat surface with absorbent side of sampler facing upwards.
• Pipette 100μl of urine sample onto absorbent sampler.
• Place cap over absorbent sampler, without inverting device.
• Read result after 3 minutes.

 

 

 

 

D) Urine Stream

 

• Absorbent sampler should be held in urine stream for 3 to 7 seconds only.
• Place cap over absorbent sampler, without inverting device.
• Read result after 3 minutes.

 

 

 

Step 2

A blue Control Line must appear within 3 minutes otherwise the test must be repeated. Any result that appears after 10 minutes should be ignored.
